Veteran's Day

Holiday Index

In some parts of the country, ceremony and fanfare marks the coming of Veterans Day. On this day, remember the sacrifices of veterans who served in America's wars, living or dead. If you know someone who is a veteran, show them how grateful Americans are for these brave men and woman who defied odds to keep our country the great and free nation it is today. Attend a picnic, have your own family ceremony where you present "medals" to a special veteran, or mark the day in respectful silence.
